آشوربانيبال نحو ثلاثين ألف لوح وكسرة، ماري نحو خمسة وعشرين ألفاً، كانِش نحو ثلاثة وعشرين ألفاً، إبلا نحو سبعة عشر ألفاً، والعمارنة 382

حياةٌ لا أدب: رسائل تجّار ومراسلات ملوك وعقود زواج وقوائم جرد وشكاوى. أرشيف كانِش وحده يوثّق شبكة تجارة قصدير ومنسوجات بين آشور والأناضول برسائل عائلية.

علامَ يقع. هنا تُختبر الملامح الحضارية اختباراً حقيقياً: الكيل والميزان والدَّين والرهن والقافلة والأمان على الطريق، كلّها موصوفة في وثائق معاملات لا في نصوص أدبية. من أراد أن يعرف كيف كانت تعمل مدينةُ يوسف فليقرأ أرشيفاً لا ملحمة.

أتراحاسيس Atra-ḫasīs

ثلاثة ألواح، أقدم نسخة نحو 1700 ق.م

خلق الإنسان ثم إهلاكه. الآلهة تخلق البشر من طين مخلوط بدم إله مذبوح ليحملوا عنهم كدح الأرض، ثم يكثر البشر ويضجّ صخبهم فيُرسَل عليهم الوباء ثم المجاعة ثم الطوفان، وينجو أتراحاسيس بسفينة.

علامَ يقع. أقرب نصّ رافدي إلى بنية القصص القرآني كاملةً: خلق من طين، ثم تكاثر، ثم عقوبات متدرّجة، ثم نجاة قلّة بسفينة. والتدرّج بالذات لافت، فقبل الطوفان سلسلة إنذارات.

اليوميات الفلكية البابلية Babylonian Astronomical Diaries

نحو ستّمئة سنة متّصلة، من 652 إلى 61 ق.م، ولم ينجُ منها إلا خمسة إلى عشرة بالمئة

رصد ليلي منهجي مدوَّن: مواضع الكواكب والقمر، مع الطقس ومناسيب الفرات وأسعار الشعير والتمر والصوف، والأحداث السياسية، ليلة بليلة.

علامَ يقع. أطول برنامج بحث علمي متّصل في تاريخ البشر، وهو أيضاً أدقّ سجلّ اقتصادي ومناخي للعالم القديم. أسعار الحبوب فيه تسمح بقياس المجاعات كمّياً، وهذا مدخل مباشر لأي حديث عن سنين شداد.

ثمانية وستّون إلى سبعون لوحاً، وبين 6500 و7000 فأل

الفأل السماوي كلّه: الخسوف والكسوف والأهلّة وحركات الكواكب والظواهر الجوّية، وتأويل كل ظاهرة بما يعني الملك والدولة.

علامَ يقع. الخلفية الكاملة لعبادة الكوكب والقمر والشمس في حقبة إبراهيم. الرصد كان علماً منهجياً موثّقاً، والعبادة فرعه المنحرف. وهذا يسند القراءة التي تجعل ذكر العبادة دليلاً على وجود الرصد.

تكوين إريدو وقائمة الملوك السومرية Eridu Genesis and the Sumerian King List

لوح سومري ثلثاه مفقود، والقائمة في نسخ متعدّدة نحو 2000 ق.م

تكوين إريدو يجمع خلق البشر وملوك ما قبل الطوفان والطوفان نفسه ونجاة زيوسودرا. وقائمة الملوك تقسم التاريخ بجملة فاصلة: «ثم جرف الطوفان»، وبعدها «نزلت الملكية من السماء ثانية».

علامَ يقع. الطوفان هنا **فاصل زمني** يقسم التاريخ إلى ما قبل وما بعد، وهذا هو منطق الترتيب الحضاريّ. وزيوسودرا ملك شروباك، وشروباك فيها طبقة طمي فوق مستوى جمدة نصر مباشرة. النصّ والأرض يلتقيان في موقع واحد.

ملحمة

إيتانا Etana

ثلاث نسخ متعاقبة: بابلية قديمة ووسطى وآشورية متأخّرة

ملك كيش يعتلي ظهر نسر ليصعد إلى السماء طلباً لعشبة الولادة. النصّ يصف الصعود مرحلة بعد مرحلة: كلّما ارتفع صغرت الأرض تحته حتى صارت البحر كحوض ماء، ثم يفزع فيهوي.

علامَ يقع. فرعون يقول «لعلّي أبلغ الأسباب، أسباب السماوات فأطّلع إلى إله موسى». والصعود إلى السماء بحثاً عن إله، ثم الهويّ، حكاية رافدية قديمة موثّقة، وفيها وصف بصري لتصاغر الأرض بالارتفاع. النصّ يستحقّ قراءة كاملة مقابل آيتَي غافر والقصص.

اللوح الحادي عشر يروي الطوفان بلسان أوتنابشتم: أمر ببناء سفينة بأبعاد محدّدة، وحمل البذور والحيوان والأهل، وسبعة أيام وليال من العاصفة، ثم إرسال الطيور لاستكشاف اليابسة.

علامَ يقع. أشهر نظير للطوفان، وتفصيله الأدقّ إرسال الطير. يُقرأ في هذا المشروع نصّاً موازياً يُقارَن، لا مصدراً ولا دليلاً. والمقارنة البنيوية هي المفيدة، لا التشابه اللفظي.

أورنمّو نحو 2100 ق.م، إشنونّا، ليبت عشتار، وحمورابي بمئتين واثنتين وثمانين مادّة

أقدم نصوص قانونية مكتوبة في العالم. جزاء محدّد لفعل محدّد، مع ديباجة تقول إن الملك أقامها ليمنع القويّ من ظلم الضعيف.

علامَ يقع. السند المباشر لقراءة الدين نظامَ جزاء. وديباجة حمورابي تصرّح بالغاية نفسها التي تقوم عليها قراءة المدينة هنا: كفّ الظالم وردّ حقّ المظلوم. الاشتقاق من مدينة/دين يجد هنا سنده المادّي.

شُمّا آلو فأل الحياة اليومية: المدينة والبيت والحيوان والسلوك. والبارُوتو عرافة الكبد والأحشاء. وسَكِيكُّو دليل تشخيص طبّي يمشي بالطبيب من رأس المريض إلى قدمه، وقد رتّبه إساگيل كين أبلي في القرن الحادي عشر ق.م.

علامَ يقع. يعطي صورة كاملة عن الطيرة والفأل التي يواجهها القرآن. وسَكِيكُّو بالذات أوّل تصنيف طبّي منهجي في التاريخ، وله محرِّر معروف بالاسم، وهذا يهمّ في أي حديث عن تراكم المعرفة.

النقوش الصفائية The Safaitic inscriptions

أكثر من خمسين ألف نقش على حجارة الحرّة

نقوشٌ خطّها رعاةُ البادية بأنفسهم على الحجارة السود بين القرن الأوّل قبل الميلاد والرابع بعده، بلسان عربيّ شماليّ قديم. مضمونها يوميّ لا رسميّ: خيّم فلان هنا، ورعى، وانتجع، واشتاق، ودعا معبوده.

علامَ يقع. أضخم أرشيف عن حياة البادية العربية قبل الإسلام، وأصحابه هم الكاتبون لا الرحّالة الغرباء. وعليه تقوم مراسي بيوت الظعن والحرم، وهو يوازن الرفّ الرافديّ بشهادةٍ عربية من داخل المسرح.

أربعة وعشرون لوحاً

أضخم قائمة مفردات في العالم القديم، مرتّبة موضوعياً لا هجائياً: الأشجار ثم الأواني الخشبية ثم القصب ثم الفخار ثم الجلد ثم المعادن ثم الحيوان ثم أجزاء الجسد ثم الحجارة ثم النبات ثم السمك والطير ثم الملابس ثم الأماكن ثم الأطعمة والمشروبات.

علامَ يقع. «وعلّم آدم الأسماء كلّها ثم عرضهم». هذا النصّ هو أقرب ما أنتجه العالم القديم إلى ذلك: تسمية شاملة منظَّمة لكل ما في العالم، تُدرَّس وتُحفَظ وتُنقَل. والربط بين الاثنين لم نجد له ذكراً في الأدب الثانوي، وهو يستحقّ الفحص.
